I absolutely loved how many different ways there were to solve each mission, between ghosting, vents, or just full on Scar Facing it there was something new to do every time. But once I changed the scheme up it got easier to manage. Half the time when I would be sneaking around in and out of cover I'd pop up out of crouch like a freaking game of Whack-a-Mole. The story and the atmosphere is just so gripping and sucks you right in, only to be taken out of it with the most absurd control scheme I have ever played. I don't think I've ever uttered, 'I fucking hate this game,' as many times as I have while playing Deus Ex, but my god I couldn't take myself away from it.
